How Coaching Works
|
What exactly happens during a Coaching Program? Are there different styles of coaching? There are a variety of coaching styles but virtually all the established ones use the same underlying process. Coaches use tools and skills drawn from behavioral sciences, sports coaching and consulting to enhance the client’s awareness, generate SMART goals and succeed in making the client take ownership and responsibility towards achieving these goals. At ISEC we follow our proven “INNER COACH Methodology” which has its roots in sports coaching, integrated with the IAC masteries. Where and how often does the client-coach meeting happen? Usually the client and the coach mutually decide on meeting at a location that is both comfortable and conveniently accessible to both of them. Meetings may take also place within the client’s office (only if the program is sponsored by the client’s organization) or at the coach’s office. Face–to-face meetings typically average twice per month. |
